All of these materials are included in the Library Catalog, and an author, title, subject, or keword search will retrieve records for materials in all formats. You may, however, limit searches to a specific format or location. to do so, click on the SET LIMITS button found on each search screen. Searches may be limited in several ways, including by type (e.g., musical recording), medium (e.g., sound recording), and location (e.g., AV materials, periodicals). Note that type and medium limits are similar and that if you limit a search by type, you should not also limit by medium. (Try both, but not at the same time.) To retrieve items in a particular format, a keyword search the format as a search term may also be used.
