How can I find out about the water quality conditions of a particular stream or lake?
The Planning Section, in conjunction with the Lakes & Ponds Management Section, maintains databases that contain descriptions of water quality conditions of surface waters throughout Vermont. Water quality assessment reports are being prepared for each of the seventeen river basins within Vermont. Completed basin assessment reports are available by visiting the specific basins on the Planning Section web page.
