I’m a headteacher at a primary school and I know the struggle of trying to find new staff and supply teachers. As the school is located in a small area, I found that we didn’t get a lot of applicants when we listed vacancies. Then a friend told me that she did all her recruiting for staff and supply teachers through an agency. I’ve been working with them for over a year now, and I’ve been able to find a lot of capable and well-qualified staff with their help. They can also find you a supply teacher within short notice, and I’m glad to say that they have all been professional and well qualified. After some bad experiences with supply teachers and cover supervisors in the past, it was a welcomed change for me.
