How can I find job with a reputable cruise line?

It depends on what kind of job you want to have. If you want to do a specialty job like IT or dive instructor, you need special training or a degree. If you want to work on cruise entertainment staff, you need to be VERY comfortable working with different people and able to make a fool of yourself at a moment’s notice. Just check out the employment section of most cruise line websites. I used to work as a dive instructor for Norwegian Cruise Line and I applied through the website by sending my resume. It took about 9 months but I finally got a phone interview and was hired the same day. The wages for specialty jobs are usually very good. I got started at $2000/month. That doesn’t sound incredible but when you consider that I don’t have any expenses while working onboard the ships, all that money goes into the bank and can be very easy to save.
