How can I find Blackfoot ancestors?

I will (civilly) disagree with both the above replies. Trace all your family members in exactly the same manner as any other ancestors. That is, find their documentation. What that record is/ isn’t depends on the person, the date and location. There is, by the way, absolutely no reason that Native American persons would not have birth documents… as long as they lived in a location and time when that was required. It also is spinning your wheels to contact an Indian tribal office, and ask if they have records of your ancestor. The next question from them would be “well, what is your ancestor’s name?” … and if you don’t have that info, the conversation stops right there. http://rwguide.rootsweb.ancestry.com/ this can help you get started on tracing your family. ONCE YOU HAVE names and locations, if there is connection to any tribe, it will show up in those records.

What is your question?

*Sadly, we had to bring back ads too. Hopefully more targeted.
