Getting an agent is difficult at best. You’ll need a resume’ pic of course. If you have other acting friends, ask around. Do they have an agent? Can they get you a meet? (That’s showbiz talk for “meeting”.) Any personal introductions are best. Pick up a copy of The Ross Reports. This is a small booklet, published every month, that has the names, addresses, phone numbers, etc., of all the agents. Call them, call them, call them, call them. Be a pest. Go to their office. Wait in their reception area. They probably won’t “see” you, so do it again the next day, and again and again. Send them all your picture and resume’. Then, every month thereafter, send them all your postcard (this is your resume’ picture printed on a postcard). Often the Ross Reports will tell you how the agents want you to contact them. They’ll usually say “No calls. No visits. Submit resume’ and pic to…). Ignore this. That’s what everybody does. You need to be different. Stand out. You need to get in their face. Sho
