How can I find a WWII Veteran to interview?

I understand to a certain extent how you can feel afraid of the folks in a nursing home… they would love to see and speak with a new person… the attention would be appreciated… many people there are just old…ask one of the staff who would be a good and safe person to speak with… there are some old folks there who are not with it and can be a bit wild…you could go to a veterans hospital… ask the staff again who would be appropriate for you to interview… think of it this way… they could be your grandparent and besides that many of them have no family to visit them… or their family does not visit them… you can do it…
