How can I find a list of private schools in Colorado?
The most comprehensive place to find a list of private school’s is the federal Department of Education’s National Center for Education Statistics’ Private School Search: http://nces.ed.gov/surveys/pss/privateschoolsearch/. You don’t need to fill in the form; just select the state you want from the dropdown menu and click “Search”. Another source would be the National Association of Independent Schools, www.nais.org. They are an accreditation agency for private (“independent”) schools in the US and Canada, usually the less-religious and more academically/economically rigorous ones. On the left side of their homepage, there’s a “Find/Post Jobs” link; I did a quick search on Colorado and came up with some fairly recent postings.
