To run the firewall in hidden mode (invisible to the user), follow these steps: • Click “Options” on the toolbar. • Select “Background” in the Start-Up area of the “General” tab. • If you use the Rules Wizard policy, then select the “Policy” tab and specify the “Background mode” policy that should applied when the firewall runs in background mode. By default the “Block most” policy is used. • Reboot your computer. • After restarting, Lavasoft Personal Firewall will run without the GUI.
