It depends upon your nationality. Assuming this facility is allowed for your nationality, you can do something called as the Visa Run. It costs about THB 2500 per person. You’ll have to enroll with a travel agency that offers this Visa Run service. They will take you and other ‘visa runners’ by bus to the nearest Thai border, either with Cambodia or Laos. You exit Thailand on foot and cross into either Cambodia or Laos. After an hour’s stay in that country, you return by foot into Thailand and a visa valid for one-month stay will be stamped in your passport by Thai immigration. However, as I said, please ensure this facility is available for your nationality. Thai agencies that offer the Visa Run offer no guarantees whether you’ll be able to exit or re-enter Thailand by road and money paid is non-refundable.
