How can I ease ovary pain and also prevent it?
Bananas are very good for period pains i know it sounds crazy but it does help. Alot of women experience pains and discomfort i often find that a hot water bottle or a wheat bag also helps my discomfort. I had very similar symptoms a few years ago and my doctor gave me the mini pill and i found that after a while my body got in to a routine and the pain eased. Remember that everybody is different so if you have tried all these methods or are really concerned then consult you doctor. Hope you resolve you problem take care.
I am sorry that you have been experiencing such bad pain. I think that it is really important that you have some tests done to make sure that there isn’t something else causing the pain – fibroids, cysts and endometriosis can all cause the type of pain that you describe and you should not have to put up with it. I am disappointed that those who have already answered have had such negative responses from their medical practioners. This can be a debilitating pain and it does need to be investigated properly. Twisted or ruptured cysts can be life threatening, fibroids can cause long term damage if not removed and endometriosis can make you infertile. It is impossible to say whether this is the case for you – but you should get it checked out and once they have given you the all clear, then you should be able to get medication such as mefanamic acid (which is what I take) to manage the pain.
