How can I dye my bleached blonde hair brown?
My teen daughter just went thru this process-going from blonde to a dark brown w/ some red. I thought it would solve the never ending cycle of hair coloring-guess what? Not so much! Apparently after taking the color out of the hair shaft for years-they have to use a “filler” to have the hair take the color evenly. It has now been 2 filler/color sessions and it now seems to be holding the color. You may want to have your first coloring session done at the salon so there are no rude surprises. Ask for the best colorist and get all the info you can. Also, we now use a “color hold” shampoo as red breaks down the quickest. Good luck to you!
