To download quotes history from the terminal, do the following: 1. Update the terminal. To do this, download MetaTrader 4 (build 210 or higher) from the website and install it over the previous version. Quotes cant be imported through LiveUpdate. 2. Increase the maximum number of bars in MetaTrader 4 settings on the basis that one day of the history contains 1440 minute bars (menu Tools / Options, Charts tab, parameter Max bars in history). 3. Access the archive of quotes in MetaTrader 4: menu Tools / History Center. 4. Select the desired instrument (for example, double-click EURUSD) and click – Download. As a result, MetaTrader 4 downloads the history of M1 quotes from the History Center and transforms them into all the timeframes of MT4.
