It is very difficult to do the observation of these animals to decide their anthropological characteristics. It is the particular behaviour of orangutans that they seldom come out of the trees and as they spend all their life on trees you will have to go on trees to view their behaviour and then compared them with that of the human beings and find if there is any relationship between us and them. One of the equipments which is considered as one of the best to understand their behaviour and that is camera hidden in the trees. But the camera should be a high definition one and so that it can track the behaviour even with a little movement. What you will have to do is to fit the camera somewhere on the trees and then record their behaviour. After a certain period you can take out the camera and can view if there is anything noticeable in their behaviour. Another thing that is required is persistence; you have to be persistent as they are less in number hard to find even in the jungle.
