How can I distribute my models among other people in a standalone way without need to install AnyLogic?
Since AnyLogic model is a Java application itself, it could be used as standalone application. For this purpose, AnyLogic 6 Professional has a special feature allowing a user to export a model as a java application. To export a model, select it in the Projects view, choose Export from the File menu, then follow the instructions of the wizard. In AnyLogic 6 Advanced, this option is not available and stand-alone model usage is prohibited by the License Agreement. A model can be used as a Java Applet in the both AnyLogic 6 editions. To be able to run the model separately from AnyLogic IDE you are supposed to have AnyLogic Engine Runtime License (AERL). It allows to install and use AnyLogic Engine for execution of simulation applications on some number of computers. AERL is only needed for execution Simulation Application and is not needed for execution Simulation Applets.
