Residents may take their household hazardous waste to a Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Drop Off Event. Events are held every third Saturday of the month (except December), from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., 164 Carl Road, Sunnyvale. Call (408) 730-7262 for details. Sunnyvale residents do not need appointments for these events, however, other Santa Clara County residents and businesses need to make appointments to attend the HHW events. To make an appointment or discuss alternate drop-off locations details, contact the Santa Clara County HHW Program at (408) 299-7300.
