Sometimes it is necessary to display a simple text message on the workstation to let the operator know about the backup operation. In order to display a dialog containing message text you can use the NET SEND system command together with local or remote commands. NET SEND uses the system Messanger Service. The Messanger Service must therefore be active on the backup server and workstations.
