a. Start Desktop Manager – on the Windows taskbar, click Start and select Programs > BlackBerry > Desktop Manager. b. If the “Device Password Required” dialog is displayed then click Cancel. c. Select the Help/About BlackBerry Desktop Manager menu item. d. On the General tab record the BlackBerry Desktop Manager version number. e. Click the Device Software tab and record the information displayed about the installed software.
