How can I cure my dog of his fear for fireworks?

Congrats, a fellow person that also brings his dog to fireworks. My dog has an ultimate trusting relationship with me and we’ve been together since she was old enough to leave her mom, I’m also proud to say that I outran a truck to save her life and am still here to tell the tale. Enough about me though, fireworks are very loud even to us humans. Take fireworks and make it about as high as a computers surround sound system can go and stay next to it while you play a song, thats about as loud as fireworks are to them. Dogs have -really- good hearing, hearing sounds that we can’t hear ourselves (hence the dog whistle) so while it may seem like an awesome idea to bring your pet with you to the fireworks display to see the pretty colors coming out of those bombs, just remember how high it actually is for them and that it can seriously damage their hearing.
