How can I create a mask for ArtMatic Voyager images and movies for me to use in compositing?
To create a mask to use for compositing, you need to render the picture or movie twice. First do the normal render. Then you can create a ‘mask’ where sky is white and terrain is black by doing the following: 1) Set sky type to Clear Sky 2) Set sky color to pure white 3) Set ambient, wetness, haze and atmosphere to 0 4) Set the sun color to black The terrain will now appear black and the sky white. Render as a pict or movie and you can use it as a mask channel.
