How can I cost effectively monitor power consumption on a per circuit basis in my home?
I have not been able to find a cost effective way to monitor power consumption of the individual circuits in my home. There are some products that monitor and total electricity usage and some kits that include transducers that can be plugged in between appliances and the wall socket to measure a particular circuit but nothing that I have found that monitors all circuits independently. It seems like this capability would be of fundamental value in driving increased awareness and focused improvements in consumption.
