How can I copy my WebMail Pros address book to GopherMail?
This process does NOT merge WebMail Pro, WebMail 3.0, and GopherMail’s address books; this process replaces your GopherMail address book with your WebMail Pro address book. • Verify that the address book you want to use is WebMail Pro’s address book; address books cannot be merged. • Log in to your personal file space using an SFTP client to view the files in your home directory. • Delete the .umn_addressbook file from your account’s directory. Be sure to back up the file before you delete it. • Log in to WebMail 3.0. WebMail Pro’s address book is automatically copied to WebMail 3. • Make a change to WebMail 3.0’s address book, i.e., add an entry. WebMail 3.0 creates the .umn_addressbook file and saves it to your account’s home directory. • Log out of WebMail 3.0 <-- VERY IMPORTANT STEP! • Log into GopherMail. To view your address book, click on [Addressbook].
