How can I convince my parents to get me a puppy dog for christmas?
Number 1; Instead of trying to prove you are responsible to make the parents get a pup. Don’t keep telling them how wonderful you are, and how responsible. Instead show them, by doing chores, offer to do chores you don’t normally do. Number 2; Accept the fact that NO mean no. If you are really responsible and mature enough, then you will accept the fact and just be patient, and don’t winge and wine because you didn’t get your own way. There are many reason why your parents may not want a puppy. Ask them why and accept the reason, don’t say they are making excuses etc. 99% of cases if your under 21 years of age, you will need a parent to be with you when purchasing a puppy from reptuable breeder or animal shelter. So trying to get one behind your parents back will be a very difficult task. Don’t advise it either, as it will end up in heartache for you and the pup.
