When connected to a computer in USB storage mode, Preliminary setup • Press [MODE] and select SYSTEM. • In the MIDI USB tab, touch USB setup. • Make sure that the USB Mode is set to Storage. If usually you need USB MIDI (audio) functionality, switch this back to USB-MIDI (audio) after working in the USB storage mode. Performing the connection • Connect the V-Synth to the computer with a USB cable. • Press [MODE] and select USB. • Choose Internal or Card memory area. • Depending on the OS type running on your computer, on the desktop or in system devices list you should see a new removable drive icon (“Removable Disk”, “Roland V-Synth”, etc.). • Open the V-Synth drive with a file manager. • Perform the needed operations on the files (copy projects/files to/from the computer, etc.).
