How can I connect an iPad to car stereo speakers?
I can only imagine some of the car mods that are going on right now to include the iPad. The touch screen device seems almost custom made to be controlled from inside of a car. I can’t find a custom iPad car audio connection kit available yet. However, expect one soon. Still, I don’t know that these will be in as high demand as iPod control kits. The iPod is a small screen device that is easily hidden away. Controlling it through existing radio controls or better yet steering wheel controls provides the best experience in a car. I see the iPad being used more as a complete radio replacement. With the large touch screen, it seems natural to me that a car app would lead the way with in car integration of the iPad. If I’m right, the best way to connect an iPad to a car radio will be using an AUX input found on many existing radios. Simply buy a patch cable and connect the ends.
