This is an advanced configuration. Only proceed if you understand your local network configuration. If you are having trouble with your iPhone/iPod touch automatically discovering Appigo Sync on your local network, it may work better for you to set a static IP Address on your Mac Desktop computer. To do this, open System Preferences and go into the Network settings. Click the “Advanced” button and change your IPv4 setting to “Manually” configure an IP Address. As noted above, please make sure you understand your local network, as setting these values incorrectly may prevent you from accessing the Internet and/or cause other computers on your network to have problems connecting with the network. Inside Appigo Sync, open the Advanced page and set a static port to use.
