A – Currently, the Bend Police Department will only qualify retired BPD officers. Retired BPD officers have the opportunity to complete the DPSST Course of Fire free of charge. Retired BPD officers must provide their own ammunition and equipment. The qualification process will take place yearly during the month of June. This qualification is valid for one year from the date of qualification. To register for this class, please contact the Training Division by calling 541-322-2960.
