How can I comment on the proposed draft open Internet rules?
The easiest ways for the public to provide input on the draft rules are to post a comment on the Open Internet blog or participate in the Open Internet discussion on the crowdsourcing platform the FCC has set up for this proceeding. Comments – including supporting documents – may also be filed using the FCC’s Electronic Comment Filing System (ECFS). If you file comments via ECFS, you should read this guide first. The docket numbers used to identify this rulemaking proceeding are 09-191 and 07-52. It is also possible to file paper comments, following the instructions at the bottom of this guide. The deadline for submitting opening comments is January 14, 2010. Reply comments are due by April 26, 2010.
