Unlike the DEIS and SDEIS, the FEIS is not followed by an official comment period. This is because the document is the final publication of the Environmental Impact Statement and addresses previously recorded comments from each of the public comment periods during the process. However, public comment will continue to be a vital part of the next step of the project – the design phase – and interested parties are encouraged to continue using the comment mechanisms listed above and to visit this website often for updates.
