How can I close my American Express GlobalTravel Card account?
In the event that you decide to close your American Express GlobalTravel Card account, call Customer Service. You can visit a branch of the Authorised Seller where you purchased the Card and ask for a reimbursement of available funds. Once your account is closed, please destroy any Cards by cutting them in half and disposing of them securely. To close your account if there is no balance remaining, call Customer Service.
