Vinegar, water and newspaper will clean most of your windows & mirrors without leaving the lint from paper towels..cheap too…Baking soda and water help clean cabinets and countertops too as well as sinks and appliances; put a TBSP and 1/2c of H2O in a bowl and place in your microwave on hi for 5min–will deoderize your micro and you can wipe it down with a cloth and will cut the grease in no time–you can do the same with water and cut up lemons…also deoderizes and takes out odors…sprinkle Baking Soda on your carpets and vacuum up to use as a carpet freshener…lemons, or oranges (peels preferably) and ice cubes can clean and sharpen your garbage disposal and it smells good…use the self clean cycle on your oven-you don’t add anything to it for cleaning…I have to say I don’t know an effective way to clean the floors in the kitchen or bathroom without using Mr. Clean or Mop & Go and still feeling like it is actually clean. I also use Arm & Hammer Green Washing Machine Detergent
