How can I check if the puraDYN system is operating correctly?

While the engine is running at normal operating temperature, carefully touch the top of the TF product, or bottom of the PFT product, next to the heating element. If the surface feels very hot to the touch, then the heating element is working. On TF models you can verify return oil flow by looking at the flow meter sight glass. On PFT models, carefully touch the return line hose near the bottom of the unit – it should feel warm to the touch. As long as the heating element is working and oil flow is present, the puraDYN® system is continuously cleaning the oil.
