How can I change the Recycle Bin settings in Windows Vista?

You can easily change the Recycle Bin settings to meet your needs – increase/decrease the maximum storage size of the Recycle Bin, turn off the delete confirmation dialog box that appears every time you send files to the Recycle Bin or even choose not to move files to the Recycle Bin and instead immediately remove them from your computer when you delete them. To change the Recycle Bin settings in Windows Vista: Right-click on the Recycle Bin desktop icon and select Properties. Open the General tab. – For selected Recycle Bin set maximum size in MB in the ‘Maximum size’ box. – Put/remove the check mark for ‘Display delete confirmation’. – If you don’t want to place deleted files to Recycle Bin, select ‘Do not move files to the Recycle Bin’.
