You can adjust the brightness of the LCD monitor from the [SETUP] menu. With the mode dial set to any mode except [GUIDE], press the [MENU] button. Press the Right arrow on the arrow pad to select [SETUP], and then press the [OK] button to access the Setup menu. On the next screen, use the Up or Down arrow to navigate to the icon of the LCD monitor. Press the Right arrow to access the settings. Use the arrow pad to make the display lighter (Up arrow) or darker (Down arrow). The brightness of the display will change to demonstrate the effect the selection will have. Select the desired brightness setting, and then press [OK] to activate it. Press the [MENU] button twice to exit the menu.
