How can I change my mortgage payment (either Orange Mortgage or another) to come right out of my Electric Orange instead of my linked checking account?
If you have an Orange Mortgage, use the ‘Transfer Money’ tab on ingdirect.com to set up payments to come right out of your Electric Orange. You can add other lenders to your Address Book and then you can set up Free Bill Pay to pay your mortgage. Hint to avoid fees or confusion: make sure you tell your other bank they need to cancel the original automatic payment. They may continue to pull the payment for one or two billing periods, so be mindful of the timing. I need to send a payment to Company XYZ and they are saying ‘Please include your payment stub with your payment to ensure proper processing.’ How can I feel confident paying this Company using Electric Orange?
