How can I change my ArcIMS Spatial Server to work with a different ArcIMS Application Server after installation?

You can change the ArcIMS Application Server that is being used by editing the ArcIMS Monitors Startup Parameters. On NT, choose Start | Settings | Control Panel | Services; on Windows 2000, choose Start | Settings | Control Panel | Administrative Tools | Component Services. Highlight ArcIMS Monitor. At the bottom of the Service dialog, type the following in the Startup Parameters text box: Note: The default Monitor Listener Port is 5050. To make this change on UNIX, go to $AIMSHOME/Monitor/Monitor.properties file and edit the registryPort value. The default is 5353.
