Sam – they require you to give notice 30 days prior to your next billing date. Did they send you a contract copy by e-mail? You can check your statements and find out what date they are debiting your account on. Say September 28 was your last debit date – you need to go in prior to October 28 and give them formal notice. You need to notify the Manager or Assistant Manager. Giving notice at the front counter doesn’t cut it. Then your deposit will cover the last 30 days. Sorry dude but you agreed to give 30 days notice when you signed up. The other option is to cancel your card and get a new one. A tough option if you have other account activity tied to it. It took me three months to get my account straightened out when I moved to a town without one of their outlets. Be persistent and good luck.
