Imran, why do you want to cancel the visa? It is the practice of Gulf countries to issue a exit/reentry visa for a specific period of time, say 3 months or 6 months. If the employee did not turn up within the specified period, the reentry visa autormatically gets cancelled. To re-enter into Dubai, you have to get a letter from your Sponsor supported by a valid reason. The Sponsor’s letter can then be taken to the Embassy in bombay and they will endorse the extended re-entry visa for a short period, say a week or 10 days, before the expiry of which you have to land in Dubai. As for the original visa your passport is stamped with for the first time, it is also valid as long as you are in the employment and avail annual or emergency leave. When once the Sponsor cancels your employment and issues a letter to that effect, the original visa is cancelled naturally. Only thing is you cannot travel on the same passport within a fixed period of time, say 2 years in case of Saudi Arabia for eg. C
