How can I buy Travel Insurance Select and be eligible for the time sensitive benefits, if I don know what my final Trip Cost will be?
For example I have not yet booked my airfare. First, buy Travel Insurance Select within 15 days of your initial trip deposit/payment to fully cover the trip arrangements you have already purchased. Later, when your trip cost increases (for example, if you later book your airfare or add a trip extension), you should (within 15 days) increase the Trip Cost you are insuring to include these additional costs/arrangements. If you were originally eligible (i.e. purchased Travel Insurance Select within 15 days of your initial deposit/payment for your trip), you must purchase the additional coverage within 15 days of your payment for the new travel arrangements/costs to continue your eligibility. Notify Travel Insurance Services in writing by email, fax or mail of the new travel arrangements/costs you want to insure and include the additional insurance premium. Please include a daytime phone number and your Confirmation Number.
