How can I buy online using a Barclays bank card?
I thought Barclays did away with the Barclays Bank card years ago. It was a card whose only purpose was for taking cash out of a cash machine. This card could not be used to buy goods over the internet. Actually the Barclays Bank card was pre-internet. I might be wrong and the Barclays Bank card might still exist – in which case it can not be used over the internet. I thought this card had been replaced by the Barclays Connect. If you mean this Barclays Connect Card then you can use this – as you probably know – to get cash out of a cash machine or you can use it on the internet as a debit card. If you used the Barclays Connect online as a debit card then you do exactly the same as you would with a credit card except that the funds come out of your bank account normally the same day that you buy the goods.
