How can I buy Meade or Celestron Telescopes in India?

India has many astronomical societies. All the major towns and cities have one. One or two of the members in your local club may have a good telescope for sale which will save a lot of money. Meade, Celestron, Skywatcher, Tal, and many other brands of telescopes are available in India. The astro club in Chennai is very active. I was there a couple of years ago. Far south in lovely Kerala there are also a couple of good astro clubs, and on the hills in the Western Ghats the skies are glorious at night with no light pollution from the cities. Mumbai has a very big astro club (see below) and in New Delhi there is a lot of interest too. Here is a list of astronomical societies in India. http://www.iucaa.ernet.in/~aaa/amateur_c… . . . . . The largest astronomy club in Mumbai is Khagol Mandal…The Earth and Sky Organisation. http://www.khagolmandal.com/
