How can I burn my iTunes music to CDs so that they will play in my CD player?

It sounds like your iTunes might be set to make data discs or MP3 discs instead of music CDs. Data files and MP3s take up less space so you can fit more songs on a single CD but a normal CD player won’t read them (but your computer will). In order to change your burning settings go to the Edit menu, then select Preferences. In the Preferences screen select the Advanced tab, then the Burning tab. Under “Disc Format” make sure “Audio CD” is selected. The discs should work like a normal CD. If this doesn’t work, then check your CD player. Some older machines won’t read burned CDs and some require special music CDs (they are CD-Rs labeled as Music CDs that are sold where regular CD-Rs are). Bear in mind that you can then Rip a CD of music purchased through iTunes but you can only play these songs on your own computer OR on computers authorized by you with your password. Usually only iTunes can read iTunes music. You can only authorize five machines so you can’t play the music you buy endle
