How can i bring worms to the surface of my garden?
Use a bucket of water with some (not too much) fairy liquid(detergent) in it.It works a treat.We used this method in school to estimate the number of worms in a field.We marked out random 1m square plots sprinkled the solution ,waited a couple of minutes and up come the worms.The trouble is,the worms are mostly the big soil worms,much,much better for fishing are the brandling worms found in dung-heaps and manure piles.If you live near a farm ask the farmer if you can collect some…they are much more effective and wriggle about much more than those deep,big ones.
