How can I best optimize my Windows 95 environment to work with outSPOKEN 2.0?
We recommend the following Windows 95 settings for optimal performance when using outSPOKEN: • The graphic dictionaries for outSPOKEN are defined for a color depth of 256. You can change the color depth in the Control Panel (start menu/ Settings). Double-click the Display icon and select the Settings tab at the top of the window. The first control is Color Palette. Click on the Combo button or use the Cursor keys to open the list of options and select 256. Click the Apply button at the bottom of the window to make the change immediately, and then choose the OK button to close the dialog. You may be prompted to restart Windows. • It is also best to have no Background Pattern or Wall Paper. Use the Background tab in Display to change these settings. • It is best to use the “Windows Standard” desktop scheme.
