If you want to serve your community as a Police Officer or Firefighter, you must meet certain minimum requirements and pass a civil service exam (both written and physical agility). The City of White Plains holds its Firefighter and Police Officer exams every two years in odd numbered years with the Firefighter exam generally given in June and the Police Officer exam offered in December.
