How can i become a manga author?
hey give yourself a break! who cares if your american, there are a lot of americans and australians who are manga authors or artists and they do japanese manga style. Take me for example, i’m australian and just finishing high school and i am aiming to be a manga author and create my own manga in a japanese manga style, but when i was just starting high school i was the same as you i didn’t know what i wanted to do, but i discovered i loved drawing and manga/anime so i decided i wanted to be a manga author but i didn’t let the fact that i wasnt japanese get in the way. i stood up for myself and went with my own style and perfected it (in fact i still am) but my point is it doesnt matter where your from as long as your happy with what you want to do you should go for it, but at the same time try not to worry about your style or how good you draw because it takes lots of practice and hard work to get really good at developing your own unique style and when you have you won’t have to worr
