How can I be alerted to new journal articles published by the Institute of Physics?
The alert service here is restricted to publications of the Institute of Physics only. You are required to create an account with the publisher for a username and password by clicking the ‘Create account’ button at the top of the screen. After you have done a search, click the ‘login’ button in the search history list against the search statement that you wish to save as alert. Save your search statement before you create an e-mail alert profile. To save a search, enter a name in the ‘Save as’ box, then click on ‘Update’ button. On the next screen, select the ‘Create e-mail alert’ box below the saved search in question, then click on ‘Update’. An e-mail alert profile matching the search will be created, with a frequency of one week. The alert profile will be given the same name as the search. Once the alert profile has been created, you can edit its frequency on the e-mail alerts configuration page.
