How can i assure that the blossoms on a orange tree grow into a fruit?

I have had orange trees for years, and there are two things that I have learned. First, never fertilize when the tree has tiny oranges on it because they will fall off. Use a citrus fertilizer when the tree first blossoms and again after the oranges are at least marble size. Then, fertilize lightly every two months. Second, Orange trees are magnets for bugs. Use a spray like Bug b Gone on the leaves and upper branches as it is non-toxic if used early. Those ants are probably there because of aphids and aphids will do lots of damage. So – get two products….citrus fertilizer and bug spray. Apply the bug spray now and the fertilizer later. You may not get oranges this year, but I promise that you will get them next year.
