You must assign a standard MIDI control number (CC#12 or CC#13) to the Rotary effect and controlling pedal/switch/pad. Assign the “FX CC#12 Switch” or “FX CC#13 Switch” parameter to one of the following controls: Footswitch (Global > Page 4 “Pedal/Switch/EC5”) EC5 (Global > Page 4 “Pedal/Switch/EC5”) Pad (Style Play > Page 23 “Pads”) Save the above settings into one of the available memory locations: in case of a footswitch or EC5, into the Global (GLOBAL, then WRITE > Global) in case of a Pad, into a Performance (WRITE > Perf), a Style Performance (WRITE > Current Style) or an STS (WRITE > STS). Hint: You should better save into a footswitch or EC5 pedal to maintain the same settings even when selecting a different Style, STS or Performance. You should use a Pad if you prefer to link your settings to a specific Style, Performance or STS. Press the MENU button, and select the Effects section.
