There are a variety have resources for finding scholarships. The first option is a website like fastweb that will try and match you to scholarships, this an ok route to take but most the scholarships will frankly be hard to get and you never know how reliable they are. Next option would be to search for local scholarships (your best bet to get some smaller awards) make your first stop your school office or counselor to ask is they have a list of local scholarships, then research organizations in your area (elks, lions, Kiwanis, fraternal organizations, unions, everything!) you will be amazed how many offer scholarships. However, where you will get the most money is from a college or university itself. If you have already applied or been accepted ask is there are any additional scholarships you can apply for. If you haven’t applied yet look at schools that offer generous merit scholarships (assuming you have great stats) and good need-based aid.
